Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data this website handles, why, on what basis, and what you can do about it. It is written the way we advise clients to write theirs: short, specific, and honest about what actually happens.
Who is responsible
Privello LLC, 1244 Harwood Rd., Bedford, TX 76021, United States, operates this website and decides how and why the data described below is processed. For anything in this notice, write to contact@privello.com.
What this site collects — and what it doesn't
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no consent banner because none is needed: there is nothing to consent to. Specifically:
Contact form. The form on our contact page does not transmit anything to us by itself. It opens your own email client with the details you entered — your name, company, email address, country, and message — and nothing is sent until you choose to send the email. What you send us by email is processed to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to an engagement, to prepare and perform the consulting agreement.
Hosting and server logs. The site is served by Vercel Inc. (United States). Like any web server, Vercel processes technical data — IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp — to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not build visitor profiles across sites. It gives us aggregate page counts and referrers, not identified individuals.
Fonts. Text on this site is displayed using fonts loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which involves the transmission of your IP address to Google. No cookies are set by this request.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or an equivalent law applies to a visitor, we rely on: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) for enquiries and engagements; and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs, security, cookie-free analytics, and the delivery of site assets such as fonts.
Retention
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is live and then for a reasonable period in case you come back; correspondence connected to an engagement is kept for the duration of the engagement and any record-keeping period that applies to it. Server logs and aggregate analytics are retained on Vercel's standard schedules.
Recipients and transfers
Personal data reaches the service providers named above — Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (font delivery), and Google Workspace (our email) — and no one else. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. Because Privello is established in the United States, data you send us is processed in the United States; where European law requires a transfer mechanism for that, we rely on the recipient's certification under the EU–U.S. or Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses, the same instruments we advise clients on.
Your rights
Where the GDPR, the revFADP, or a similar law applies to you, you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to contact@privello.com; we answer within the statutory deadline. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority.
